"Love conquers all; lavender represents them all -- Love Out Lavender"
2018 Campaign runs February 4th - June 4th
Each of us at Charisma Salon have had cancer attack our families at some point, some of us live with our survivors and some of us live with their losses. This images shows the layers of our stories. When the word cancer enters your life there is a moment when your mind knows that there are no words to say to help you find peace...

It's been my goal each year to raise money to battle for the future of our world, for our children. Childhood cancer hit not just the parent but the whole family, just as any cancer would, but the fight is often overwhelming for a body that has barley lived a life of it's own.
As a parent, I would do anything to protect my kids and in truth, I'll rally behind any fight that makes our world safer for kids. And while there are plenty of groups looking out for the safety of our kids toys and the foods they eat, I want more warriors in the fight to end an entire category of cancer. 'BEAUTY, GRACE, POWER'
Do you have that person in your life who pushes you to be a better version of yourself? I would not be who I am today if it wasn't for this person, Robyn. She has always pushed me to be a stronger me, and she has always always been there for me no matter what. The fact that I might not have Robyn in my life because of cancer is what drives me to do Love Out Lavender.

'MAKE CANCER HISTORY'
This past August, my Mom was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. The past 9 months have not been easy on my Mom, nor those who care about her. The quote, “when someone has cancer, the whole family and everyone who loves them does too," took on a whole new meaning. As I will never comprehend exactly what my Mom has gone through, and continues to go through, I know she knows she is not alone and we are here for her.
